October 2017 Thrive Monthly Coaching Call featuring Matt Rush and James McLamb (Co-Founders of Generation Ziglar)
Welcome to our October Thrive Coaching Call with Ziglar Family COO, Bobby Hopper, who has brought in Matt Rush and James McLamb, co-founders of Generation Ziglar, to talk strategy around getting our older teens ready for the “real world.”
From the time Matt was in the 8th grade, he knew his life’s ambition was to help others become more than they ever thought possible. Since then, his speeches and seminars have inspired thousands of people. James, throughout his career, has worked with schools, youth organizations, civic groups, small business associations, government agencies and large companies to share the principles of success and leadership development, and his passion is coaching individuals —especially our young adults — to integrate these principles into their lives.
Questions James and Matt address include:
- What age or developmental stage should parents start to really be intentional about preparing children to be on their own, and what are some of the first steps we should take in that direction?
- What steps are reasonable, at about what age or stage, for teens to start to take responsibility for the financial realities of life?
- How does the nature of parenting change as children mature?
- And many more!
